  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Use ripe bananas for better flavor and sweetness.
  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 1 cup whipped cream Fresh whipped cream can be used for a lighter texture.
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup For drizzling on top.
  • 1 cup crushed pineapples Make sure to drain well to prevent sogginess.
  • to taste pieces Maraschino cherries For topping.
  • to taste tablespoons chopped nuts Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped cream gently until well mixed.
  • In a 9x13 inch dish, lay a layer of graham crackers.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the graham crackers.
  • Slice and layer bananas on top.
  • Spread crushed pineapples over the bananas.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers.
  • Spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture and drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
  • Top with a few Maraschino cherries and chopped nuts if desired.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover cake in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Best consumed within 3 days. You can also make this cake a day in advance.
