  • 0.5 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) If using frozen blueberries, consider using them straight from the freezer.
  • 0.25 cup honey Adjust sweetness as per taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup protein powder (optional) Can be omitted if not desired.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  • Add honey and vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Stir in the oats and protein powder (if using) until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries.
  • Form the mixture into small balls (bite-sized) and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Serve as a quick snack any time of the day. For meal prep, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen with parchment paper in between to prevent sticking. Variations: Use other fruits or flavored protein powders, and add nuts or seeds for extra texture.
