Ingredients
  

Cookie Cup Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure butter is at room temperature.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp milk (for caramel)

Filling Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips Can swap for dark chocolate or white chocolate.
  • 1 can caramel sauce For filling the cookie cups.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • Gradually add the flour and mix until just incorporated.
  • Press the cookie dough into the bottom and up the sides of the muffin cups to create a cup shape.

Baking

  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Assembly

  • Fill each cookie cup with caramel sauce.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler, then pour the melted chocolate over the caramel-filled cookie cups.
  • Let them cool completely before removing from the pan.

Notes

These cookie cups are best served at room temperature. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
