  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or hot sauce Adjust based on heat preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with the sauce mixture.
  • Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can serve Chicken Diablo with rice or noodles to soak up the delicious sauce. A side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad works well too. Marinating the chicken for a few hours or overnight enhances the flavor. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
