Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, seasoned chicken Use well-seasoned chicken for added flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 large tortilla
  • 1 unit tostada shell
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • to taste unit olive oil for cooking Use as needed for cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay the tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  • In the center of the tortilla, layer the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
  • Place the tostada shell on top of the fillings.
  • Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center, covering the filling completely.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
  • Carefully place the wrapped crunch wrap seam-side down in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve hot with extra salsa or sour cream for dipping. Pairs well with a simple salad or tortilla chips. Customizable with additional vegetables or protein options.
