  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Preferably fresh
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped Preferably fresh
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the butter, garlic, parsley, chives, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the cowboy butter mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  • Serve hot, drizzled with the melted butter sauce from the baking dish.

Notes

Make sure to use fresh herbs for the best flavor. If you like it spicier, add more cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes. For a twist, try adding lemon juice or zest to the butter mixture.
