  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For frying the chicken

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For seasoning

For the Noodles

  • 8 oz egg noodles Or any pasta you prefer
  • 4 tablespoons butter For the sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor
  • to garnish Fresh parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Noodles

  • In the same skillet, bring water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  • Drain the noodles and set aside.

Combining the Ingredients

  • In the skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat.
  • Slice the chicken and place it on top of the buttery noodles.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet when cooking the chicken for a nice brown color. You may add herbs like thyme or rosemary for varied flavor. For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream or sour cream before serving. This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
