  • 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted for the recipe.
  • 3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (divided) 2 cups for melting, 1 cup folded in.
  • 3 Large Eggs Room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Sifted for best results.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and 2 cups of chocolate chips over low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish, spreading evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let it cool before serving.
