  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter For a richer flavor, use natural peanut butter.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream Make sure to let the crust cool completely before adding the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix well and press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.
  • In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and whipped cream until smooth.
  • Pour the peanut butter mixture into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the pie cold for the best taste. You can slice it into wedges and add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
  • Crushed peanuts make a nice garnish as well.
  • Enjoy it as a dessert after lunch or dinner, or serve it at a celebration!

Notes

To store leftovers, keep the pie covered in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for about 3 to 4 days. If possible, avoid freezing it, as the texture may change when thawed.
