  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure butter is melted but not too hot.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, peanut butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Drizzle melted chocolate or peanut butter on top for added flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
