Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Fold in the cookie dough and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center slightly jiggles.

Cooling

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool.
  • Once cool, spread sour cream over the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is softened before mixing to prevent lumps in your batter. You can use store-bought cookie dough for convenience. Do not overmix the eggs to keep the cheesecake light and fluffy.
