Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 package brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 large eggs

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time, mixing well.
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Use a good quality for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Can substitute with white chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions using vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie base.
  • Swirl caramel sauce and chocolate chips into the top of the cheesecake mixture.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  • Allow to cool in the pan before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • Serve with whipped cream and additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap or foil. It can be enjoyed cold or at room temperature. Best eaten within a week.
