Ingredients
  

For the chicken patties

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For serving

  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, or other desired toppings

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix ground chicken with egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into patties.
  • Coat each patty in panko bread crumbs until evenly covered.

Cooking

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked.

Serving

  • Put each patty on a burger bun.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat. Make patties the same size for even cooking. Press a small dent in the center of each patty to keep shape while cooking. Add a little oil in the pan for better crisping.
