Ingredients
  

For the meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce greasiness.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Optional: extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For assembly

  • 1 cup marinara sauce Serve with extra on the side
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded Use more for extra cheesiness
  • 12 pieces slider buns
  • To taste Butter, for brushing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Baking Meatballs

  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Assemble Sliders

  • In a baking dish, layer the slider buns.
  • Add marinara sauce, then place the meatballs on top, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Place the top half of the slider buns over the meatballs.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with extra Parmesan if desired.

Final Baking

  • Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the sliders cool completely. Then, cover them with plastic wrap or place them in an airtight container. Store them in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave when ready to eat.
