Ingredients
  

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces slider rolls Fresh slider rolls for the best texture.
  • 1 pound sliced ham
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese Feel free to mix different types of cheese.

For the Butter Mixture

  • 1/2 cup butter Melted.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Can substitute with barbecue sauce for a smoky flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider rolls in half and layer the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Add a layer of sliced ham followed by a layer of Swiss cheese.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on top.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Brush the butter mixture over the top of the slider rolls.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Great on their own or can be paired with a side salad, chips, or a fresh vegetable platter. Offer a dipping sauce like mustard or light mayo to enhance the flavors. If you have leftovers, let them cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
