Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 fat content preferred) Ensure the beef is cooked through but not overcooked.
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Add some for brushing the bombs as well.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese (cut into 16 cubes) You can experiment with different types of cheese.

Dough

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16 biscuits total) You can use homemade biscuit dough if preferred.

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional topping)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onions are soft.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Once done, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Assembly

  • Take a piece of the biscuit dough and flatten it out.
  • Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center, followed by a spoonful of the beef mixture.
  • Carefully wrap the dough around the filling and pinch it closed to form a ball.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit package instructions.
  • Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush them with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and sesame seeds.
  • Bake until they are golden and cooked through.

Notes

Cheeseburger Bombs are best served warm. They can be enjoyed on their own or with dipping sauces like ketchup or barbecue sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
