  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Use fresh for best melt.
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Butter for brushing Brush tops for a golden shine.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Spread marinara sauce over the rolls.
  • Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and bell peppers on top.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls on the slider filling.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Storage

  • Cool the sliders to room temperature.
  • Put them in an airtight container or wrap with foil.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or microwave one serving for 40-60 seconds.

Notes

Use fresh shredded cheese for best melt. Do not overfill the rolls to keep them neat. Check after 12 minutes to prevent burning.
