Slider Ingredients

  • 12 pieces slider rolls Soft slider rolls work best.
  • 1 pound deli ham Use good quality ham for best taste.
  • 1 pound Swiss cheese Good quality Swiss is recommended.

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted for the topping.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard For added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds To sprinkle over the top.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions For garnishing.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider rolls in half vertically and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer the deli ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard and poppy seeds until combined.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the top of the sliders.
  • Sprinkle the chopped green onions on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the sliders are golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Cool the sliders to room temperature before storing. Wrap the whole pan or place slices in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 325°F (160°C) for 10-15 minutes or until warm.
