  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese (Can substitute with provolone or Gruyère)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (Can be swapped with gluten-free flour)
  • 2 pieces Eggs (Whisk with a splash of water or milk)
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (Gluten-free Panko available)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Butter (For pan-frying)

Creamy Mustard Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (Forms the creamy base)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard (Adjust according to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (Balances the flavors)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (Provides acidity)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce (Adds depth)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pound the chicken breasts until they are thin and even.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
  • Roll up the chicken breasts tightly and secure them with toothpicks if needed.
  • Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Coat each rolled chicken breast in flour first, shaking off the excess.
  • Then dip it into the egg mixture, followed by coating it with panko breadcrumbs for a crispy finish.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken rolls to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Sauce Preparation

  • While the chicken is cooking, make the creamy mustard delight by whisking together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.

Serving

  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the chicken with a generous drizzle of the creamy mustard sauce on top.

Notes
