  • 1 cup cooked rice Base for the bowl.
  • 1 cup queso sauce Warm before serving.

Cooking the Steak

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

Assembling the Bowl

  • While the steak is resting, warm the queso sauce in a small saucepan.
  • Slice the steak into strips.
  • In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, sliced steak, and drizzle with queso sauce.
  • Add optional toppings as desired and serve.

Notes
