  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Coat each breast in the beaten egg, then in the breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket. Spray with olive oil and cook for about 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it.

Assembly

  • Lay out the tortillas and add a layer of mozzarella cheese, followed by slices of the crispy chicken.
  • Add any additional toppings like lettuce or tomatoes, then roll the tortillas tightly to form wraps.
  • If desired, return the wraps to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.

Serving

  • Serve warm with a side of dipping sauce like ranch or marinara. Pair them with a fresh salad or crispy vegetable fries.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite spices or sauces before breading. Experiment with different types of cheese or add spices to the breadcrumbs for a unique twist. Ensure the chicken is fully cooked by checking that it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
