Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for creamier texture.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Can substitute with other fruits.

For the quesadillas

  • 4 pieces flour tortillas Whole wheat tortillas can also be used.
  • as needed Cooking spray or butter For cooking the quesadillas.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over two of the tortillas.
  • Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  • Place the other two tortillas on top to form quesadillas.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray or butter.
  • Place the quesadillas in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet and cut into wedges. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with chocolate or caramel sauce, whipped cream, or fresh berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Avoid microwaving to preserve texture.
