Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, mix the whole milk and granulated sugar until dissolved.
  • Add the pureed strawberries to the milk mixture and combine well.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Add the crushed cookies or granola and stir gently to combine.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh strawberries. You can use different types of cookies or granola for the crunch. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
