  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate Chopped chocolate can be used instead of chips.
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips Optional for added sweetness.
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted with the chocolate.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, melt the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips with the unsalted butter. You can do this in the microwave or with a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a baking dish.
  • Let it cool slightly, then refrigerate for about an hour until set.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for about a week. Freezes well for up to a month.
