Brownie Base

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Use high-quality for richer flavor.
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Cheesecake Layer

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Store-bought works perfectly.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time to the mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Cheesecake Layer

  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add the heavy cream and beat until well combined.
  • Fold in the caramel sauce gently until mixed throughout.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until set.
  • Once done, let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Store covered in the fridge for up to a week or freeze tightly wrapped for longer storage. Serve chilled with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
