Ingredients
  

For the pie

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Optional, can be omitted for a nut-free pie.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the walnuts or pecans, white chocolate chips, and milk chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve the pie warm or at room temperature. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or drizzle with chocolate syrup or caramel sauce for an extra treat. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
