Ingredients
  

For the lasagna

  • 2 cans 2 (8-ounce) cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a pan, layer half of the cinnamon rolls at the bottom.
  • In a bowl, mix the peeled and sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Layer this apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Add the remaining cinnamon rolls on top of the apple layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve this dessert warm. It can be drizzled with icing from the cinnamon roll tubes or enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months, thawing before reheating. Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best results.
