Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Boneless chicken thighs or breasts You can use either option based on preference.
  • 1 packet Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet Au jus gravy mix Adds savory flavor.
  • 4 pieces Pepperoncini peppers Use with juice for more flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Cut into pieces for even melting.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken in a slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the chicken.
  • Add the pepperoncini peppers on top of the chicken.
  • Cut butter into pieces and place on top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
  • Shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce before serving.

Notes

Cool the chicken to room temperature within two hours and store in an airtight container. Refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. Use bone-in chicken for more flavor and adjust the cooking time if needed. Add a splash of chicken broth for more sauce if desired.
