  • 1 packet taco seasoning Or use a homemade blend.
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can be skipped for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more cheese variety for flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas Warm before assembling.
  • to taste Butter or oil For grilling.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, simmering for 5 minutes.

Warming the Tortillas

  • Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave for flexibility.

Assembling the Burrito

  • Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream.
  • Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.

Grilling the Burrito

  • Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese.
  • Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust.
  • Flip it over and repeat on the other side.

Notes

For added nutrition, throw in some chopped veggies like bell peppers or spinach when assembling the burrito. Don’t rush the grilling process; let it cook until the cheese is nice and melted for the best result. Serve with extra sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
