Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps

Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

For the wrap

  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden and fully cooked. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Assembly

  • Lay the tortillas out on a flat surface. Spread a layer of creamy garlic sauce over each tortilla.
  • Evenly distribute the cooked chicken on each tortilla, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Fold the tortillas over the filling to create a wrap.
  • In the same non-stick pan, grill the folded wraps for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the pan and cut each wrap in half. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

These wraps can be served fresh off the pan, hot and cheesy. They can be paired with a side salad, crispy fries, or a bowl of soup. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
