  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt for a lighter option) Use Greek yogurt for a lower fat option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor and helps the topping brown.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish) Use for presentation.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and spread the creamy mixture evenly over the top of each piece.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot alongside rice, roasted veggies, or a crisp salad.

Notes

Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for even cooking. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes after baking to keep juices inside.
