  • 2 large large chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic minced finely
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a skillet and sear the chicken on both sides until golden. Remove the chicken from the pan.
  • Add garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add soy sauce and honey. Stir to combine and make the sauce.
  • Return the chicken to the pan, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and simmer.
  • Cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or mashed potatoes and steamed or roasted vegetables. Store cooked chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
