  • 4 pieces chicken thighs bone-in or boneless thighs can be used
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh herbs (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the spice mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet, skin side up.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

Pat the skin dry with paper towels before seasoning to help it crisp. Use a meat thermometer to check for 165°F (75°C). Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet; give each thigh space for even heat. Let the meat rest a few minutes after baking to keep juices inside.
