Air Fryer Pretzel Crusted Chicken Tenders are amazing. There is nothing better than an easy recipe for Air Fryer Chicken Tenders!

INGREDIENTS– chicken – pretzels – egg – all-purpose flour – mayonnaise

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.  Place pretzels in a Ziploc bag and crush them with a flat mallet or rolling pin.1

Pour into a shallow bowl.  Mix egg, flour, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a separate shallow bowl, and whisk until well combined.2

First, place chicken strips into egg batter, coating well on all sides. Then coat with pretzels by pressing chicken strips into the mixture to help them stick.3

Grease the air fryer rack with oil. Place strips into the basket in a single layer, leaving room in between.  Coat with a small amount of oil. Cook for 3 minutes.4

Flip and coat with a small amount of oil and cook additional 2-3 minutes.  Continue with the remaining strips.5
