A new series featuring Sacramento chefs, farmers and a behind-the-scenes look at Sacramento’s food scene will premiere on KCRA 3 and My 58 in conjunction with the 2023 Farm-to-Fork Festival. The three-episode series “Breaking Bread” is the result of a partnership between the station, Hearst’s national streaming by Very Local, Visit Sacramento, Moonracer Films and Misfit, KCRA 3 and My58 CEO Ariel Roblin said Thursday. “This year, our partnership will celebrate Sacramento’s Farm to Fork Festival by distributing this program throughout our region and across the country,” said Roblin. “Take a trip to Boston or Baltimore and you’re very likely to sample our own California ingredients at some of the best restaurants.” The series features Sacramento chefs and farmers while spotlighting Sacramento’s culinary scene and hospitality. It takes viewers behind the scenes of the talented minds in our region who are intimately involved in everything from the field to the plate. In addition to premiering on KCRA 3 and My58, the limited series will have a national release on streaming app Very Local. Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival runs September 7-23.
