Stardew Valley is set to get its own cookbook, allowing fans to experience the flavors of over 50 recipes from the popular farming RPG when it releases in Spring 2024.
“I’d like to announce the upcoming Stardew Valley cookbook,” read the post on ConcernedApe’s X developer account. “Releasing next spring, it includes 50 recipes from the game, such as Pink Cake, Salad and Weird Bun,” it said.
Food is a cornerstone of the Stardew Valley experience. Players hoping to make the most of a short game day can replenish their energy by consuming pixelated snacks, while those making their way through sleepy, monster-infested mines rely heavily on food to replenish health lost in battle. It is also part of the social fabric of the game. New food recipes can be given by grateful NPCs, which can in turn be cooked and given to villages to strengthen the bond between them and the player.
