Dietary supplement: PROCAPS SA DE CV of San Salvador, El Salvador is voluntarily recalling Bacaolinita 8 FL OZ by Laboratorios Lopez, a dietary supplement, because the product label does not list hydrogenated castor oil PEG-40 as an inactive ingredient. More info.

Frozen fruit: Willamette Valley Fruit Co, Salem, OR is voluntarily recalling select packages of frozen fruit containing strawberries grown in Mexico due to possible hepatitis A contamination. More info.

Undeclared allergen in the supplement: Supplement Manufacturing Partner Inc. is recalling Havasu Nutrition’s Beet Powder + because it contains an undeclared milk allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. More info.

Chocolate chunks of gelato: Gelato Boy of Boulder, Colorado is recalling 728 cases / 5,824 units of Chocolate Chunk Gelato because it may contain undeclared MILK. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to MILK are at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. More info.

Drug recall due to mislabeling: Harvard Drug Group, LLC d/b/a Major Pharmaceutical and Rugby Laboratories is initiating a voluntary recall of one lot of Dronabinol, USP, 2.5 mg capsules and Ziprasidone Hydrochloride, 20 mg capsules, at the consumer level. Harvard Drug Group, LLC received a customer complaint from a distributor that some unit-dose boxes labeled as Ziprasidone Hydrochloride Capsules, 20 mg contained blister packs labeled as and containing Dronabinol capsules. Fruit cup choking hazard: RICHIN TRADING INC. ALHAMBRA, CA is voluntarily recalling its MINI FRUIT JELLY CUP (35.27 oz. and 52.90 oz.) because the products pose a potential choking hazard based on product size. Small jelly cups have previously been implicated in the deaths of children by suffocation. More info.

Tostitos recall of undeclared milk: Frito-Lay today issued a voluntary recall of select 15 oz. Tostitos Avocado Salsa Jar Dips, which may contain an undeclared dairy allergen. Those with allergies or severe sensitivity to milk are at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. More info.
The following products have been recalled but do not affect Michigan: Cricket Creek Farm cheese recalled due to listeria, Tillamook undeclared allergen, rings with onion flavor undeclared allergen, undeclared peanuts in chocolate covered raisinsand remember the frozen fruit mix.

Hedge trimmers can switch on unexpectedly: Chervon North America is recalling the EGO Power+ Cordless Brushless Hedge Trimmer because the rear switch trigger may not return when pressed, which may cause the unit to activate unexpectedly, posing a laceration risk. More info.

Juicers recalled as blade may crack: Empower Brands is recalling Power XL self-cleaning juicers because the juicers can tear during use and cause lacerations. Rupture can also leave small shavings in the juice, posing an ingestion risk. More info.

Infant seats recalled due to drowning hazard: TopGlore is recalling Narskido infant tub seats because they do not meet federal safety standards for tub seats. They do not meet the requirements for stability and leg openings. They can tip over when in use and pose a tripping hazard for babies. They were sold exclusively on Amazon. More info.

Diving buoyancy device recalled due to drowning hazard: Buoyancy compensating devices for diving are being recalled because the handle of the weight in the buoyancy compensating device for diving can break during use. If this happens, the user will not be able to drop the weight in an emergency to get to the surface, creating a drowning hazard. More info.
